A severe thunderstorm warning has ended for Windsor and Essex County.
Environment Canada issued the warning Wednesday morning and said storms capable of producing strong winds, nick-sized hail and heavy rain could roll into the area by early afternoon.
Torrential rain fell across the city and county Wednesday but there were no reports of significant damage caused by the rain.
Environment Canada urges people to take cover when threatening weather approaches.
More to come.
