A broken insulator has left more than 3,000 customers without power in Amherstburg Thursday morning, said Essex Powerlines.
The insulator, which is located outside the Essex Powerlines area, caused a feeder to fault and lock out. It is being replaced.
Customers can expect power to be restored around 11:30 a.m.
A small number of Hydro One customers adjacent to Amherstburg also were without power Thursday morning.
