An Essex house fire caused $50,000 in damage Friday morning.
The blaze broke out mid-morning at a house in the 100 block of Maidstone Avenue. There were no injuries.
Essex County OPP closed Maidstone Avenue west of Talbot Street while firefighters battled the flames. The Essex Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was not intentionally set.
