LaSalle’s Kylie Masse received two nods of recognition this week from USports, the governing body for Canadian university sports.

In a list of top ten USports moments from this past summer to now, Masse earned a mention at No. 3 and No. 4 .

As the reigning BLG Female Athlete of the Year, she was recognized at No. 3 for her bronze medal performance in the 100-metre backstroke at the Rio Summer Olympics and her two silver medals at the FINA short-course swimming championships earlier this month in Windsor.

She was part of a collection of 16 CIS athletes recognized in the No. 4 spot for their collective efforts on behalf of Canada at the Olympic Games.

Masse is a second-year student at the University of Toronto.
