Provincial police converged on a residence and shut down a section of Concession Road 3 in Harrow following reports of a gunshot being heard in the area.
Ontario Provincial Police said they received a call about shots fired in the 200 block of Concession Road 3 around 9:45 a.m.
Officers attended the scene and confirmed a firearm was not involved in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
A swarm of OPP officers had surrounded the rural home and Concession Road 3 was closed from about 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
