The Canadian Mental Health Association, Windsor-Essex County Branch launched the Sole Focus Project on Feb. 15, 2017 at the WFCU Centre in Windsor. The campaign seeks to raise $500,000 over the next three years in support of mental health awareness, education and training. Liz Farano, vice-president of the Douglas Marketing Group whose company created the campaign, shows off her blue soles during the event.

Members University of  Windsor Native Student Alliance are holding "Sleepy in the TiiPii" fundraising event that began Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at the campus. Participants will sleep in the TiiPii overnight at the campus community garden while collecting pledges. Money raised will be used for the group's projects on campus. Jessica Chenier from the group exits the TiiPii during the event.
