Amherstburg’s annual River Lights Winter Festival will happen again this holiday season with the continued support of Enbridge’s Amherstburg Solar Farm.
For the fourth consecutive year, the solar farm will be sponsoring the festival’s decoration of historic Amherstburg throughout November and December.
A cheque presentation is set to take place Aug. 23.
Since 2006, the festival has annually filled King’s Navy Yard Park and Toddy Jones Park with solar-powered winter-themed light displays and family-oriented activities.
This year’s six-week River Lights event will begin Nov. 18 and end Dec. 31.
Enbridge — one of Canada’s largest renewable energy companies — owns a 15 megawatt solar facility in Amherstburg.
