Essex County OPP are asking the public to be watchful for a male in a vehicle who approached a 12-year-old girl in Harrow on Monday afternoon.
According to the girl, the incident happened around 1:30 p.m. while she was walking on Sunset Drive. She was returning to school after her lunch hour when a car drew near her.
Inside the car was a lone male with balding grey hair.
Speaking in a low voice, the stranger asked the girl to get in his vehicle.
The girl refused, ran to school, and told school staff — who immediately contacted police.
The vehicle is described as an older model four-door sedan with a champagne beige colour.
The man is described as appearing to be in his 50s and having a deep voice.
He was last seen driving the car in a westward direction on King Street (County Road 20) from Sunset Drive.
