Freezing temperatures didn’t stop a trio of males from robbing a convenience store in Kingsville on Wednesday morning — but according to OPP, the criminals didn’t get much for their efforts.
Police said the three suspects fled with some tobacco products and “a minimal amount of cash,” despite them brandishing weapons and confronting the store employee.
OPP officers were called around 5:45 a.m. to the Mac’s gas station and convenience store at 1568 Seacliff Dr., at the corner of Union Avenue in Kingsville.
Investigators learned that three masked males had entered the store demanding cash. Security cameras recorded all three going behind the counter to surround the store employee.
