Essex County OPP have released the name of the motorcycle rider killed Wednesday in a collision with a pickup truck.
Police said McIntee was riding east down County Road 46 on a Harley-Davidson when a southbound pickup truck came to the stop sign at Rochester Town Line. Police said the truck stopped, but then continued into the intersection and hit the oncoming motorcycle, which did not have a stop sign. McIntee died at the scene after his motorcycle was thrown off the road.
Police haven’t revealed the identity of the pickup driver. They also haven’t said if charges are pending.
