Amherstburg candidates debate

The Amherstburg Chamber of Commerce and the Verdi Club are holding a Meet Your Candidates Debate in mid-October.

Council candidates will debate on Oct. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Verdi Club, 689 Texas Rd. The mayor and deputy mayor candidates will debate on Oct. 16 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Questions will be prepared in advance. The public will not be allowed to ask questions during the debates.

To submit a question in advance email it to Monica Bunde at amherstburgchamber@gmail.com with the subject line “Debate Question.”

Submitting a question doesn’t guarantee it will be used during the debate.
