One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash on County Road 42 east of St. Joachim early Wednesday.
According to Lakeshore OPP, officers were called to an accident scene at 3:48 a.m. between Rochester Townline Road and County Road 35.
A four-door sedan was found in a ditch.
Police have closed County Road 42 from County Road 31 to County Road 35. Collision reconstruction specialists continue to work at the scene.
Few details have been released.
The car has been removed from the area. It had extensive front-end and roof damage.
Police have not disclosed the name of the deceased and are in the process of notifying next of kin.
