Investigators are trying to piece together what happened after firefighters found a man dead inside a burning car.
Essex County OPP said someone driving down Mersea Road 6 in Leamington noticed a car on fire in a driveway around 1:15 a.m.
Leamington firefighters responded and found a body inside the burned out vehicle.
Police gave no other information about the case.
The coroner’s office, Ontario Fire Marshal’s office and Essex County OPP are investigating.
