Essex County OPP have ruled there was no foul play involved in the death of a man found inside a burning vehicle.
Police said Kevin Michael Ascott, 29, of Leamington, died Friday inside a burning car on Mersea Road 6.
A person driving down the road noticed a car on fire in a driveway around 1:15 a.m. Friday. Leamington firefighters responded and found a body inside the burned out vehicle.
Police said Tuesday that Ascott’s death was not suspicious, but they gave no more detail.
