Windsor and Essex County could see its most significant snowfall of the winter on Sunday.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement, alerting the region of a developing winter storm system that could potentially bring between 10 to 15 centimetres of snow to Windsor and Essex County as well as the Chatham-Kent area.
“There remains some uncertainty in the track of this storm,” the statement said. “Snow accumulation could be higher if it tracks further north. In addition, gusty northeast winds would result in local blowing snow and reduce visibilities.”
