The Essex NDP MPP signed and submitted a petition to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario Tuesday.
“Highway 3 between Windsor and Leamington has long been identified as dangerous and unable to meet growing traffic volumes,” the Essex NDP MPP said at Queen’s Park.
The Ministry of Transportation recently announced plans to rebuild roadways, culverts, add new lighting and traffic signals on Highway 3 between Leamington and Essex.
But Natyshak said the government should instead “direct those funds to the timely completion of the already approved widening of this important roadway in Essex.”
