Boil water advisory issued for Boblo Island

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has issued a boil water advisory for Boblo Island.

Dr. Gary Kirk, the medical officer of health, said only bottled water or water brought to a boil for one minute should be used for consumption, food and ice preperation.

The boil water advisory will remain in effect until further notice.

The health unit said there have been no illnesses reported.
