A BMW sedan is missing after it was stolen during a test drive in LaSalle earlier this week.
According to LaSalle police, the owner of the vehicle had been trying to sell it privately. A prospective buyer was met on July 9 for a test drive around 10 p.m.
But as the owner was getting into the passenger side of the vehicle, the suspect in the driver seat accelerated away.
The car thief is described as a male in his mid-20s, about five-foot-nine in height. He has a slim build, a brown complexion, and facial hair.
Police said the thief is possibly from the Toronto area.
The stolen vehicle is a black 2008 BMW M3 sedan. It has Ontario licence plates reading BSNC 686.
